Panix lets you use whatever software you like. These days, setup for most clients is pretty obvious, but we do provide instructions for a few of the most popular email programs and some general information for other kinds of programs as well.

Email Programs

The basic settings you'll need for FTP are:
- FTP Hostname: Enter "ftp.panix.com".
- Username/login: This is your Panix username.
- Password: Enter your password in this field.
